Maybe they can use Norton to stop McAfee from getting into another country?

John McAfee's bizarre run from authorities in Belize took another strange turn Tuesday with the millionaire anti-virus software company founder now claiming he has escaped the country and is in Guatemala.
McAfee, 67, who is wanted for questioning in Belize about the shooting death of his neighbor, is now in Guatemala and "will be meeting with Guatemalan officials this morning," according to a blog post written under his name. McAfee made the announcement after an iPhone photo of McAfee uploaded to the U.S. magazine Vice had accidentally revealed his exact location inside Guatemala.
"I apologize for all of the misdirections over the past few days," the post reads. "It was not easy to exit Belize and required many supporters in many countries."
The update is the latest in a puzzling series of posts on the blog, which over the weekend claimed that he had been detained on the Belizean/Mexico border.

It is the mcafee antivirus founder. And I don't believe he's done anything wrong.

His story is that Belize politicians didn't appreciate him giving money to buy policemen boots directly and wanted his money donated to the government. Than a politician came to his door to ask for a 2 million dollar donation. He claims they killed his neighbor after they poisoned his dogs in an attempt to frame him.

Story I read (Wired I think) said that he had been a hardcore drug user at some point. Then for awhile he'd gone straight, but at some point he started toying around with designer drugs (this shit they call bath salts according to the story) and he started behaving very bizarrely. It appears that he had some sort of safe room on this estate and he was hiding in it while the cops were searching for him for a couple of weeks. It sure seems like a lot of other people think he's a gun crazy lunatic.

I heard him in an interview last week. I'm no bath salts expert but I don't think you just quit cold turkey and give eloquent interviews while fleeing the government.
