I'll figure it out next time I talk to the accountant.
That's crazy! The US has crazy business taxes! We tax 39% to businesses and 35% to individuals!

Re: Christmas Plans?

That's still a little less than what I used to pay.

I sure appreciate the tax breaks I'll be getting now though. Finally I pay less than some Americans tax wise!

There's also a 15% social security tax, and an 8% state tax in AZ.

It needs to be that high now, and still will only get worse.

Re: Christmas Plans?

It doesn't. People are just getting rich off the system through graft.

Anyways. Christmas plans are to get Chinese food and go see a movie. Fa la la la la!

Re: Christmas Plans?

Taking the 21st off to hit up the golf course with a friend who recently moved to Tennessee that will be back in town for the holidays. Offices are closed the 24th and 25th so I'll be heading over to spend Christmas Eve at my grandparents' house, then Christmas we'll start at my parents' house and go to my mother-in-law's house for the afternoon before heading back to Lakeland to work on the 26th.

New Years' Day was especially warm in lower New England this past year. My cousin and his friends started the year with like a 9 a.m. tee-off and only needed windbreakers. This was in Massachusetts, too, not some southern state.
