I'm going to go the complete opposite direction of everybody else in this thread. I say good for her. She is obviously still in incredible shape at 40. She's accomplished what she wanted in life. She obviously enjoyed it... to do it for so long. Even though her husband protested, he didn't leave her. She was clearly good at it since she reached third overall rank in such a short period of time. I'm not saying I would sleep with her or that I would be okay with it if she were my wife, but on principal I don't actually have a problem with this.

I think there's a world of difference between condemning a hooker (which I'm not doing) and saying that a guy is pathetic for letting his wife prostitute herself around, cheating on him with several men, in what is presumably a closed marriage.

We've all had our hearts broken. I think it's much more about every marriage around me crumbling than being bitter at someone who dumped me. I'll admit to going overboard at times, but I do try to reel myself in and I think I go further than what I actually think occasionally. I don't know if I posted here, but I know I definitely overreacted to Karen Owen, that Duke student who slept with the entire school. Misogyny creeps into some of the stuff I read that is ostensibly about other stuff, and it will occasionally corrupt what I say until I realize what I'm doing.
