Considering the number of research lines that Einstein left unfinished during his lifetime (Quantum Gravity, much of general relativity) - well... I'd hardly look to him to FINISH Hawkings' research. :P

I think Hawking is busy with his own research, like finding a way to hold a pen again or have a voice other than the Speak n Spell monster voice.

he could use a different voice if he wanted. its just that his persona has been associated to that voice for so long, he has chosen to stick with it.
