Behold China's illegal, $48 million World of Warcraft theme park.

I think we let China keep this theme park, they let us out of the debt we owe them, and we just call it a wash.

48 million..... That pisses me off. It would be infinitely more expensive to build over here.

No wonder people are farming work to China.

I've never played World of Warcraft, it scares me how addicted people get, however I'd love to go to that theme park.

And yes it would be infinitely more expensive in the US, it cost $48 million just to build X2 roller coaster at Six Flags Magic Mountain. Then again, it was built with safety standards, which cost extra.

The more work I do advising our estimating department, the more ridiculous I think our safety standards are. I understand valuing human life, but this is starting to get ridiculous. Kudos to the Chinese.

Do your own research. I used to read stuff on the news all the time in Hong Kong, about faulty theme park machinery and bad maintenance/management in China.
