People always have regrets when things aren't going well. The fact of the matter is that as long as you keep moving forward you shouldn't regret any "mistakes". I thought about what if I did such and such differently etc. but the fact is that had I done those things differently, then my entire life would be different, and possibly not for the better. If my life would have turned out no different then why would I regret not having experienced it?

I regret not having taken school more seriously right after high school. Other than that I'm good.

I regret not stealing my friend's girl back in college. We both wanted it to happen. She turned out to be a wonderful person. I wound up losing that friend due to another problem, anyway, but out of some guy code bull I didn't act on my instinct while there was still time.

Not taking sports more serious in high school, in fact, probably could say just not taking high school slightly more serious in general. If I would have gotten into weight training a little earlier, been a little less into drinking and smoking weed, and taken myself more seriously I may have been able to play D3 football somewhere. Not like that's a huge accomplishment, but it would have given me a clear direction in the sense that I would have kept up more on school. Probably be graduating this year with a potential college football background, even if only D3. Could have aided getting a job in the sports industry, but who knows.

That's all pretty optimistic, and it isn't like I'm unhappy with my life now. I would have never met my now long time girlfriend, I would have missed out on a lot of opportunities that I've been presented with, wouldn't have met a lot of people I have, and it's hard to say that either route would be better or worse than the other.

I used to regret a great deal of things in my life, but I've learned to let most of them be because if I had made different decisions who knows where I would be. The only real regret I do have is that I didn't get into working out sooner in my life (I really got into it my freshman year of college).

Its funny, i only regret dropping out of college from a financial and physical standpoint.. i cost myself money and now have to work construction which is killing my body. The thing is i dropped out of college because i was an immature kid who liked to party and just got a brand new girlfriend..i dropped out to screw around and 6 months later my now wife is pregnant with my first daughter... another daughter a few years later and i am looking at my 10 year wedding anniversery coming up in june..funny how you can regret a decision you make in your life for some reasons but at the same time if i had a time machine there is no way in hell i would change a thing i did

You've obviously never seen an angry elk. That's before we get into the grizzlies, polar bears, wolves, Arctic tiger seals and the Rogue Penguin Empire in northwest Nunavut (those little buggers were quite vicious, there's a reason the Canuckians lost the first two Wars of the Misplaced Penguins).
