The only thing I regret is not finishing school by 2008 when I had the chance. Instead I took a long break and now I'm back in school trying to finish 5 years later. I should already be working on my career but that has to wait at this point. I disappointed so many people because I was careless in school. But at least I got back on the right track and am doing well now.

What about you guys?

Everything is working out well at this point so not really. It'd be nice to go back and tell high school luke that school is important so I wouldn't have had to do everything I've needed to get into UGA, but it's all good.

I've thought about it lots but always came back to no. I've had a lot of **** ups over the years, but things in my life are great these days and you never know how it would have turned out if you change anything.

I very nearly joined the Coast Guard as an environmental scientist out of college, but wound up deciding to job hunt for a year instead. Things are going well for me now(decent job, serious girlfriend, looking at buying a starter house/condo), so I can't say that I regret my decision, but it's been the big "what if/road not traveled" in my mind ever since.

I almost joined the army during the first year of the recession.

I conveniently forget about that when I look back on life. I honestly didn't even think about it until I saw your post. I think I'd just be finishing my 3 years now and trying to get back into the real world.

I always wanted to serve for my country, but man am I glad I didn't go through with it at the ripe old age of 27.
