I thought this was so interesting. Here is a link to the discovery of her body, which had been missing for just over a year now:

RAMSEY SAID THE office of Jonathan Arden, the District of Columbia’s medical examiner, confirmed Levy’s identity through dental records. “The manner or cause of death is still pending,” Ramsey said. “Certainly more work still needs to be done.” He said the park would be secured for more investigation.
Ramsey said investigators had changed the status of Levy’s case from that of a missing person to that of a death investigation. Depending on the manner of death that is determined, Ramsey said, that status could change again.
The remains were found in “a remote area” of the 2,820-acre park and had been spread around, possibly by animals, Ramsey said. NBC News’ Andrea Mitchell reported that police sources said the bones were spread across 40 square yards. Police believe it will take another six or seven hours tomorrow to create grids in that area, collect each bone and map it.
Ramsey said police had searched 1,700 acres of the park last summer and that this particular area was so remote it had not been searched. The remains “have been there for a period of time ... prior to our winter,” the chief said.
‘WORST FEARS’ OF FAMILY
In Fort Lauderdale, Fla., Levy family attorney Billy Martin said Wednesday evening the family’s “worst fears have become a reality.”
The discovery “does not solve the mystery of what happened to Chandra. Dr. Levy and his wife will continue to work with the authorities to conclude this investigation,” Martin said. “We believe this death investigation could turn into a homicide. We want everyone to appreciate that we will continue, along with police, to try to find the person or persons who did this to Chandra.”
