I have to retract my last post in this thread, and say Late Reg > Carter 2. I think it had more staying power, and better production all round. Carter 2 was a good album, but I only play a few songs from it. Never front to back.
What was the final vote for 2006?

It was probably Nas & The Roots, actually.. I remember everyone having them, now. Which I think would give Nas 4 albums to make the list.

wow 06 was such a bad year....
Project Pat and Jeezy probably ahd the 2 best CDs and they werent all that great.....

All of the albums on the list since 2001 are crap. And 4:21...The Day After was my favorite album of 2006 but that's probably just because Method Man is one of my favorites.
