Who do you think it is? I'm going with Jin, he's crazy with his free's. Also, Posta Boy and Cassidy get mention. I'm not saying Em because I havent heard any recent free's by him, so idk if he's improved/decreased.

If you didn't know, everyone who "freestyles" doesn't actually freestyle. The best REAL freestylers are average joes off the street per se.
True, but you cant over look how bad Jin made people look on 106 & Park. I also heard like a 10minute freestlye from Jin, where the beat kept getting switched up, and he stole tore it up. Btw, Posta Boy isnt someone people should sleep on, same with Ness.

I wasn't denying Jin that he was sick off the top, but I was saying that as a forewarning before people starting putting their favorite rappers down out of fanboyism. Gotta try and keep it objective. (Waits for someone to say Papoose...)
Jin is one of the best I've heard ever off the top. He doesn't say the same "homo/mama jokes" like every other bargain basement freestyler. He's right behind Hova off the top in my eyes. He ****s on alot people who come prepared, but Hov made albums (and great ones) while off the top.
Posta Boy = actually he freeverses and is NOT as great some of those with freeverses nowadays..he's been surpassed. Ask me this in like '03 and I would've said him in an instant.
Ness = LOVELY EMCEE. What I define as another top prospect and he can go off the top every now and again (look at some Philly rap DVDs and you'll see what I mean) and writes serious freeverses, but elite in both categories? Best in Philly, not I can name more than five better overall easily.
Also, add Joe Budden to my "freeverse" list and Immortal Technique (as much as I hate him) on my freestyle list.
I've only heard one IT free, and he got ripped by Posta. But I agree with you about Jin. He just flows like crazy against people, I heard one free between him and Cassidiy, it was pretty nice.

Jay-Z doesn't write down his lyrics, but i wouldn't consider his albums freestyles. he still rehearses the lyrics in his mind until they are memorized. freestyling is str8 off the top of the dome, no rehearsal IMO.

Swann is pretty nice. Ness & Millz had some nice battles a few years back. Idk where to find the Jin-Cassidy one, I dl'ed it off of lime wire.

the rap olympics were pretty whack, am i the only one who thought swann was just average? i know so many people that could murk dude, they need to do a better job of finding participants.
Jin and Cassidy are pretty nice off the top.
