List of Intros....

Just wondering what intros are your favorites. the ones that made your anticipation of the rest of the album go WAY up. Here's some of mine:

Intro to Stillmatic-Nas
Redemption-Intro to 2pac's R U Still Down?
Intro to the Black Album-Jay-Z
Intro to the Red Light District-Ludacris
Intro to It's Dark and Hell is Hot-DMX

Amen brother. ATLiens is a true hip-hop classic.

I loved Eminem's intro to the Slim Shady LP (it was basically copied onto the Marshall Mathers LP as well). The Black Album and Purple Haze had good intros as well.

Beanie Sigel has my favorite with "Feel It In The Air", though. It was the best song on his album and is really overlooked as a track itself.

"They thought I'd make another Illmatic,

Great song.

Big L - Big Picture intro is amazing as well.
So is Jay-Z's Dynasty intro.

True the Dynasty intro is tight. Haven't heard the Big L one but that'll change after this weekend )18th birthday dough or die)

That stillmatic intro was great. Beast lyrics with extremely enticing music. That whole album was awesome all the way through for me.

Intro of Disc 2 for Wu-Tang Forever, the RZA speaks some motivational words there.

The intro for Doggystyle is one of my favorites....

"Man you got a color TV in every room and you want to give all this up?"
