I listened to most of it but it didn't grab me, wasn't giving it my full attention though. I'll try to give it a good listen tomorrow.

John Legend will be playing a show in Detroit the day before Thanksgiving. I also happen to have an invitation to have Thanksgiving Dinner at a friend's house in Detroit (Stemming from meeting his parents after going to jail, and subsequently needing a place to stay before a court date). So he's leaving on Tuesday night, setting up the perfect situation to see the concert.

Now, the fun part. Tickets on Stub Hub and other various second-hand ticket outlets are upwards from $95, and that's just for upper level balcony seats. But, I have the ability to go to ticketmaster and buy main floor tickets for $46, and be assured tickets, because it's a part of a pre-order period.

John Legend will be taking over CBS in the coming days..

"Green Light" was given for them to use in the upcoming fall promo campaign "The Biggest November Ever is Ready to Go on CBS".

Finally listened to the entire thing and I like it. Better than Once Again but not quite on the level of Get Lifted. The only song I don't really like is the one that's about Obama. It kinda irks me when you get a CD full of love and relationship **** then out of nowhere you get some track about the war for some reason.

(AP) A platinum CD is hardly a disappointment, especially in these rocky times, when even veteran acts find it hard to crack the one-million mark.

But John Legend admits to being slightly disappointed to the response to his last album, "Once Again." It's not that it was flop compared to his debut, "Get Lifted," which also went platinum. And it's not like he didn't win accolades off of his sophomore CD: He earned a Grammy, and now has five to put on his mantle.

So with his new CD, "Evolver," Legend is aiming to become an artist that can fill arenas, not just theaters. He has some big-time help: Not only is friend and mentor Kanye West back for an assist, Legend also called in Andre 3000, Ne-Yo and Pharrell.
