And Redman got at him too...if you're unsure where this is coming from, Buddens dissed Meth in a youtube and said he had ghostwriters...this was in relation to them both (entirely justifiably) being above him on Vibe's top MCs ever bracket.

This guy has two dope mixtapes and he acts like he's Scarface or something..someone needs to let him know he's not as good as he thinks he is. He's like a player putting up 25 on a lottery team talking **** about everybody in the playoffs.

I've been waiting for him to bark up the wrong tree..I don't know if Red and Meth still have it, but if they do he has.

This whole thing is coming from Budden misinterpreting the Vibe list..even though I, like most think it's trash, I also understand it's not from a bar for bar perspective. Budden is trying to base the list on who he'd beat in a battle, but he doesn't have the resume or impact of just about everyone in front of him. Any mainstream America list is gonna be about the total package, not bar for bar.

Watching the video now, he says:

He also gives an open invitation to anyone on the list to go bar-for-bar with him.

I'd like to hear a few subliminals thrown out there. 4:21 proved that Meth still has it (it may not be Tical, but it wasn't Tical 0: The Prequel.) However, that was nearly 2 1/2 years ago. I think Blackout 2 will show us where he stands. As for Reggie, I feel he's fallen a bit, but is still very good, and I can sit through any of his albums any day of the week.

But at this very moment, I would think Budden would take it to them (or at least Meth) on wax.
