There were dozens. I think they got boiled down into like 10 CDs eventually.

EDIT: Both the Nuggets and Pebbles compilations were originally vinyl LPs, hence the first ten Nuggets LPs or so so filtered down into 4 CDs. Just as the vast Pebbles library got filtered down into ten or so.

Oh, I also have a Detroit Cobras compilation. They're a band from the last 20 years, but they're sort of an updated version of the Chesterfield Kings in that they play 60s style garage rock.

After trying to introduce myself to different genres and sub-genres, I think this might be more my speed

Is this 1 just an album or a box set? I'd like to hear if it can be easily compressed to a .zip file.

It's a one CD collection of a bunch of the Detroit Cobras singles from the mid to late 90s. I also have kind of a general compilation of 60s inspired garage band stuff recorded in the early 80s, like the Chesterfield Kings, Fuzztones, etc.
