I despise this song. It's by far the biggest heap of shit on the album. I genuinely believe he allowed a 7 year old girl to write that song.

Channel ORANGE takes a while, but it's definitely grown on me. Pyramids is my jam. I hope somebody picks it up an turns it into a radio/DJ friendly monster.

Thinkin bout you is one of the songs this year.

What. The. ****. This album is straight ass. There's one decent song on in (Pyramids), and the rest is some of the least interesting music I've ever heard, topped with a mediocre vocalist. He's like a less rhythmically sound Drake with better range. Lloyd's album last year whips the shit out of this, and that wasn't even good.

Modern mainstream R&B is the worst music in the history of human civilization. And that includes K-Pop. What the **** happened?

Re: Frank Ocean

Second listen with better headphones - ok, maybe I'm being harsh. Yes, it's terribly simple and the lyrics are terrible. But if you're not really listening to it, it is really smooth.

Re: Frank Ocean

I actually think the writing is the best part of the album even tho it can get a little wordy and clumsy at times. I will say that the album gets worse every time I listen to it but at the same time it has some really strong earworms. It's not the album that changes everything as it was said to be but I still think it shows a lot of promise.

The songwriting or lyrics themselves?

This guy just pulled out of a festival I'm going to at the weekend so I'm not a big fan at the moment. I was looking forward to him.

It's possible I'm an idiot. Really should censor initial reactions.

Lyrics. There are some brilliant moments. I just think he needs to reign himself in at certain times.
