Hip Hop draft Discussion thread
I feel like this shit is Larry Holmes status but I'll ask anyway
Now that the Wrestling draft, at least the drafting portion has winded down, let me see who's interested in doing it. The idea I have this time around is we do a producer round first off, where everyone drafts a producer, then the next 7 (8 rounds seems like a good number we might add on,) we draft rappers that suit the producers' style. Re: Hip Hop draft
would it be like an album or a label? I guess the only real difference would be if theres a tracklist or not
also, if you draft a producer that raps, you can't have him rapping, right?

Re: Hip Hop draft
No you can. But I mean few producers are dope enough to where it's a really unfair edge. Don't cheat though...Jay Electronica for instance is a god damn rapper
![]() But it's not an album or anything just a crew. Like Native Tongues or whatever |

Re: Hip Hop draft
i took the question mark off the end of my name. probably the second moderating i've ever done (first time was closing a thread I wasn't supposed to).
All of my picks are probably gonna be guys from the 00s anyways. I haven't listened to more than a few songs from anyone before then. even from the early 00s. never got the urge, i probably should though.

Re: Hip Hop draft
I listened to Illmatic once or twice. Didn't really like it. That was before I was really into rap though. Honestly don't even know who the other two are by
