I love hip hop but don't know much compared to most of you guys on here(Dre, Ben, Kidd, etc.). Anyways, I haven't downloaded any new music on my iPod for a while but I'm at that point where I'm sick of everything and get frustrated listening to the same crap over and over again so I was wondering if you guys could hook me up with some new artists to listen to. Like I said, I know don't know much compared to most of the guys on here but to get an idea as to what I like, heres a couple artists that I enjoy listening to:

Eminem
Kid Cudi
Kanye
Jay Z
Biggie
Lupe Fiasco
Big L
Wu Tang

I will definitely check out anything that's suggested. Hopefully you guys can help me out before I smash my iPod.

I don't know as much as bball or Dre, but the new artists that I go to the most are Big K.R.I.T., Currensy, and Kendrick Lamar. Currensy isn't that new tho. And it sounds like you don't like southern hip-hop, so probably skip Big K.R.I.T.

Those are probably my favourites from the new school and either their only album or my favourite by them.

For someone who isn't new, but an album from 2011, Phonte - Charity Starts At Home is amazing.

Downloaded majority of what you guys recommended but I have only had a chance to listen to the Phonte album Ben suggested and I absolutely love it.

My favorite "new school" rapper is definitely Chuuwee. If you just want to vibe out to some ignorant shit then listen to the MMG collabs.
