Do y'all edit tracklistings?

Sometimes solid albums that run long would've been soooo much better if they were shortened, but does anyone actually delete songs from your iPod and change the order around?

Just curious.

Re: Do y'all edit tracklistings?

Got drunk at Christmas and thought "Man, that Mike Buble is the shit. I should get me some of that." and dropped $40 on his anthology. One of every 3 songs that comes up on random now are Buble beats, and I'm too lazy to hook up my ipad and fix it.

In short. No. I do not edit my track lists.

Haha, neither do I and I will never use shuffle because there's so many album songs that I don't like.

You think way too album predicated. I rarely ever let an album flow through and if I do I'm doing something and it got lucky

Re: Do y'all edit tracklistings?

Well, despite this being in the hip-hop forum most of the stuff I listen to is 70s Elton John and Kanye. Stuff where you should listen to the whole album.

Re: Do y'all edit tracklistings?

For me, it's playlists > whole album > shuffle. I still like to listen to albums without skipping around, but these rap albums with 1+ hours of songs? Nah.

Re: Do y'all edit tracklistings?

Only albums I'll play a track from and get sucked in is 36 chambers and Illmatic and that's just from nostalgia of having those CDs and not having a choice..aside from them being classics I mean

Re: Do y'all edit tracklistings?

If I'm walking around, I use shuffle. I put it on album shuffle when I'm driving as I tend to let full albums play then.

I do both when I'm at my computer.
