Re: Official Sit or Start Thread

I just read that the Titans are giving up the fewest fantasy points per game to QB's, guess I'll roll with the Sanchize against Oakland

Yup play Sanchez.

As far as your RB's go, don't over think it. You play your studs.

Re: Official Sit or Start Thread

yeah, as long as my "studs" play like studs, both CJ2k and Mendenhall have been horrible, basically the cause of my 0-2 start, that and most of my WR's are hurt to start the season (Colston, Lloyd, Nicks, Sidney Rice) its been awesome haha

Re: Official Sit or Start Thread

I'd rather lose starting Chris Johnson or Mendenhall than lose because I sat one of them for Ryan Mathews.

Re: Official Sit or Start Thread

I actually like Mathews this week more than Sproles. He showed last week against New England that he's getting an increasing role in the offense. He'll give you some catches out of the backfield too with more running yards. Tolbert made a costly fumble last week which might not affect too much, but it still plants a seed of doubt. Plus, Mathews got the rushing TD last week, not Tolbert. And of course, the Chiefs' defense is like an offensive fantasy goldmine this year. Sproles should still catch some screen passes, but Mathews has a better chance at getting a touchdown or two.

And I agree with Sanchez vs. the Raiders.

I have to choose between Brandon Lloyd (@ TEN) and Steve Johnson (vs NE) in a PPR league with both of them banged up.

Go with Johnson vs. NE. He practiced both Thursday and Friday. He should be fine. Chad Henne and Philip Rivers have carved up NE's pass defense. Fitzpatrick should be able to do the same.

I'd personally feel more comfortable with Kyle Orton.

Start Dexter McCluster or Eric Decker at WR? Non PPR league.

Re: Official Sit or Start Thread

Probably Decker, but both guys have pretty big boom potential.

Re: Official Sit or Start Thread

Non PPR league, I got Dez Bryant vs WAS or David Nelson vs NE.

If I pick Dez, I'm banking on him (he's Q )and Romo both playing, because if Kitna's in I'm probably sitting Dez without much thought. I hear Romo is likely playing, and I think Dez sounds hopeful about playing.

If I pick Nelson I'm banking on Stevie Johnson playing, because I don't think Nelson would fare nearly as well with Devin McCourty on him most of the game.

Keep in mind Dallas plays Monday night, so if he ends up not being able to pay I'll be kinda shit out of luck.

Stevie Johnson will be playing. And I think Dez can still be productive with Kitna or McGee at QB, but I don't like the Cowboys offense against the Redskin Defense. Even if Dalla is at home. Tough choice.

Re: Official Sit or Start Thread

Brandon Lloyd @GB
Brandon Marshall @SD

I've switched them 3 or 4 times this week. I really can't choose.

Re: Official Sit or Start Thread

I'd go Lloyd vs. GB. Denver should be trailing and should be passing a lot. Lloyd has also complained about targets and OC Mccoy has said Lloyd will be targeted more. And of the 1200+ yards the Packers D has given up, 1000+ have been through the air. They're allowing 359 passing yards/game.

Chargers seem to play down to opponents which should lead to tighter game with Miami. And I trust Orton throwing more than Henne.

But it is close and a tough choice. Marshall still getting red zone targets and is top of the pecking order. While Decker has emerged in Denver to maybe take targets from Lloyd. I can see why you'd keep switching. But I think Lloyd has a higher scoring potential this week.

Re: Official Sit or Start Thread

Felix Jones @Patriots, Brandon Marshall @Jets, Daniel Thomas @Jets

PPR-league and I can only choose one to start.

Also, Kellen Winslow vs. Saints or Heath Miller vs. Jaguars at the tight end position (also PPR).
