First draft of the year, was for a Yahoo public league (competitive).

QB - Peyton Manning
WR - DeSean Jackson
WR - Dez Bryant
WR - Malcom Floyd
RB - Ray Rice
RB - LeSean McCoy
TE - Dallas Clark
K - David Buehler
DEF - Dallas

Bench - Sidney Rice, Ryan Matthews, AJ Green, Joseph Addai, Reggie Bush, LeShoure (I know he got hurt, wasn't when I drafted him).

For reference, I had the 6th pick out of 10 teams. I was planning on waiting and drafting a QB later (hoping to get a committee of Stafford/Bradford or one of those guys with Kolb or something) but Manning slid all the way to the 3rd so I trashed that gameplan and took Manning.

A bit hard to assess without knowing how the other squads in your league are built. At first glance your team is loaded, but in a 10 team league, most will look like that. I do think Peyton in the 3rd is great value (a lot of people are down on him, but he'll get his numbers). Having a top flight TE always gives you a leg up on the competition even though the position has more depth. Love the RB combo as well.

Solid team, although I'd find another kicker (Buehler pissed me off to no end last year).

Remember, Cowboys play the Eagles in Week 16, so Dez with have a steady helping of Nnamdi or Rodgers-Cromartie on him that week...

As for your team, damn are you in a 4 team league?! Top 3 WR, two top 10 RBs, top 5 QB....solid draft

Im in a top 10 draft lol.. The main thing that I felt I did was take a packer fan for a sucker I guess. I traded jermichael finley and Anquan boldin for steven jackson and davis.. So thats how I ended up with jackson. Honestly I was a bit annoyed with white in the 2nd round. I think that britt will have a big season with hasselbeck if he isnt suspended for anything... I dont really feel comfortable with my depth other than having floyd as my 4th wideout.. So we will see what happens. Get your team posted up!

My big money league is a 14-teamer, and we're not drafting until the day before the season kicks off. 2nd overall pick, so we'll see what happens.

I think the concerns about Peyton are overblown, dude should put up a top 5-8 year at QB. Jamaal Charles will be a monster as well. I'm worried about your WRs though. Greg Jennings seems to get lost in the shuffle when Jermichael Finley is on the field. Lloyd needs to show he's not a one-season wonder, and Brandon Marshall will be hamstrung by Henne. Luckily, you have a top-flight TE to make up for it. I wouldn't be shocked if you're starting OchoCinco over one of those 3 WRs by the end of the season.

It's interesting that you say that. I haven't heard anyone make this contention, yet, and I follow all the major FF publications and podcasts. I have him ranked as the #3 WR in fantasy this season behind Dre and Roddy. You really think Finley makes that much difference in his production?

Jennings didn't take off last year until Finley got hurt. I know Rotoworld has frequently mentioned their concern about Jennings/Finley coexisting.

Obviously Jennings will still have a very good year, but I think he'll be more of a low-end WR1 or high-end WR2...a bit inconsistent with 5-7 TDs.

If I were ranking WRs right now, I'd go

1. Andre Johnson
2. Calvin Johnson
3. Vincent Jackson
4. Roddy White
5. Larry Fitzgerald
6. Hakeem Nicks
7. Mike Wallace
8. Desean Jackson
9. Miles Austin
10. Greg Jennings/Reggie Wayne/Brandon Marshall

Again, not saying Jennings won't have a decent year, but I don't think he'll stack up with the top tier of fantasy WRs.

Jennings has been the most consistent WR in fantasy over the last three years. TDs come and go, but consistent catches, yards, and for that matter targets really tell the story on WRs for me.

2010: 76 catches, 1265 yards
2009: 68 catcher, 1113 yards
2008: 80 catches, 1292 yards

That may be the disconnect then. I thought you were in a standard TD-heavy type league. Jennings will be solid because of the high volume of throws in GB, I just like the higher probability of TDs from some of the other guys on the list.
