2014 Shmip Mock Draft
****As usual not going to write here about internationals players since i know their ratings.
so as I do it each year here is my mock (without internationals) ![]() 1. Amir Jones PG/SG. It's hard to see here GM answer pick here other player than jones , adter losing Deron Williams 2 years ago the kings had a huge hole in the Point Guard position and Jones will fill this position with no porblems . With Jones , Cousins and Turner the Kings will be more competetive team but will have to work hard in the offseason filling those missing spots since they Marc Gasol became a free agent. ![]() 2.Jacky Biber SF/PF/SG. The Clippers went in to a tanking mode this season after the retirement of Kobe Bryant but IMO as for now even before they get to pick their roster isn't close to be the badest in the league. Payton Siva didn't get a chance to show what he is capable to do , their front court is loaded with players like Alex Oriakhi ,Jonas Valanciunas and Roy Hibbert and they also have Rodney Stuckey who was one of FRSL top players just a couple of season ago . So my guess here they will pick - Jacky Biber . ![]() 3.Martin Sharp PF/C. Hawks really good lucky at the lottery advancing from 9th to 3rd. The Hawks are young and talented team with players like Jabari Parker ,Tristan Thompson ,Dario Saric and Landry Fields (last 2 had nice progressions too) and also young PG Nate Britt . The Hawks bigest problems was their rebounding as Saric isnt a true Power Foward , the rumors are saying that the Hawks are shopping the 3rd pick but if they will keep it my guess is that they will go for Martin Sharp a srong defensive PF with good rebounding abilities , woh knows maybe after they will pick Sharp Saric or Fields will be traded for a better PG than Kidd or Britt. ![]() 4.Steve Andrews PF/C. After trading Al Jefferson to the Nets the Wolves are looking for a big guy to play along side Aaron Gordon , also here the rumors are saying that the wolves are looking to trade this pick ( maybe with the 8th) for a big guy (somebody said ZBO?) , but if the Wolves will decide to keep this pick Steve Andrews is the right guy for them . Andrews has shown during his last year in college his great post game and he is also run the court pretty good for a big guy and with Ricky Rubio as your PG we should see a lot of highlights from the Wolves this season. 5.Joey Nix PF/SF. The Pacers will have a lot of work in this current offseason , with 2 top 6 picks and somthing like 20 Million + available money to spend in the next FA . Right now all that the Pacers has is Russell Westbrook , and the team will be built around him no doubt that he is their franchise player . Joey Nix is a scoring machine and he will jump to the Carmelo Anthony spot without a problem . ![]() 6.James Rino C. After selecting Joey Nix the next target of the Pacers will be to select a big guy . Rino isn't the most polished player , and his talent is still raw but he might be the right guy in this young team , they will just have to keep collecting young players who will grow together and who knows with some good FA signings or some high pick in the next draft , the Pacers could be a playoff team again. ![]() 7.Hubert Sampson C/PF. The Bullets has a nice core with Felton , Harrison, Chandler and Noel but their % are awful and their defense isnt that good at all. Hubert Sampson is a low use offense player that should have nice % and provide some dirty work that will help this team with rebounds and some better defense displays . 8.Ben Defoe SF. After selecting a big guy with their 4th pick the Wolves next hole is the SF position. Ben Defoe is a player that every team would like to have , a hard working player that in each possession play he can provide the great steal or block , a high IQ basketball player on defense and offense. ![]() 9.Dan Hershey PG. OKC new GM Dornado is looking for a Point Guard and Hershey could be the right player for them. Hershey has a good feel for the game along with good 3 point shooting its just excatly what the Thunder need as their team 3p% isnt the greatest in the league. ![]() 10.Kareem El-Amin SG. The Pros just traded their 2015 first and their 18th pick to move up to the 10th pick, probably they saw something they like during their scouting. Considering the fact that the Pros are full in their 1,3,4 and t positions my guess they will try to pick a Shooting guard so Kareem El-Amin might be the guy they were after. ![]() 11.Mike Swift SF/SG. The Bucks had a very disappointed season , after trading young MKG and Noah they couldn't even get a playoff spot or a high pick , this pick won't make them much better , they have to find some trades that would help them improve or maybe they could a big FA signing , Mike Swift is a solid wing and with him maybe they could trade Jennings or Iggy to improve in other areas. ![]() 12.Neal Lewis PG. New GM Allrim started to work quickly since he join as the Pistons GM by trading LBJ for Kyrie Irving and Rudy Gay .. if this is a good? time will tell , but atleast finally the Pistons has a good true PG , and Gay is still an allstar calibar player.. with Randle, Amare , Lee and Ricardo Ledo their starting 5 is pretty set and they will add some depth by picking Neal Lewis.

Re: 2014 Shmip Mock Draft
Nicely written Mock here. Some interesting players for sure. Hopefully some of my biggest wishes will be available at #7. Also a steal at #15 could do well for me here.
As you said, my defense is pretty awful...just don`t get the key to fix this as I already have good rebounders and blockers on every position actually. Udoh/Scola should also be good defenders but somehow they don`t play like I thought they would.

But true these stats are not the best defensive. Are mainly looking at the numbered stats tbh.

Re: 2014 Shmip Mock Draft
O-d, d-d, p-d, t-d are important! , also what i meant is that neither of your 1,2,3 has more than 6 o-d or d-d .. And this is not good
