Don't sweat it AllRim, when I started in these things I had little to no knowledge of player value (some might argue I still don't, I guess). I don't like people airing out peoples trade requests even if they're ridiculous... just turn that shit down, no sense in publicly ridiculing someone for it - just my opinion on the matter. It makes me less likely to offer those people trades. Obviously if someone offers bad trades over and over again people will get annoyed, but this seemed to be an isolated thing.

And the worst that can happen is a guy says no, so what the hell.

This is the first one I've called out in a very long team, and that isn't by accident. Calling people out serves a purpose, offers like that deserve to be ridiculed. We aren't 15 year old girls, I don't worry about people catching feelings on the internet.

I would happily trade with this dude right now if the value is right, so if me calling his shitty offer shitty in public makes him not want to deal with me that's his loss. Negotiation isn't for the feeble, you know this quite well lawyer man.

Yeah, its all good, I just didn't want the guy getting discouraged. I used to bitch about the "Some trade offers..." thread a bit too, so it is nothing personal, just not how I prefer to do business. I have some guys in my fantasy football league who can be bad about it, so maybe that's why I notice it.

And yeah, I negotiate contracts for a living, but for what it is worth one of the first ground rules I lay down is that you don't negotiate through the press - and what happens around the table stays at the table.... so it isn't so much about feebleness from my perspective. Anyway, to each his own.

I find it funny BJ runs his mouth on new GMs when his trade offers are the most horrible ones.

If every GM posted your trade offers u'd be done BJ.

Let's all be honest, new guys don't give good offers because they have no idea who is valuable and who is not. And veterans give bad offers to these new gms to rip them off. I can't even name all the crap offers I have gotten when I first joined here. And yes, I may have offered bad deals because Im still learning how to gauge a players skill level.
