I doubt anybody offered anything to Rivers. I like my group of guys that picked me. Sad that Beal got matched.

well because we run RFA in 1 sim we are letting u to file as many offers as u want .. you need to think of it that it like the NBA .. lets say he offered to Zeller and it got matched so then he offered jonas .. and so on.. in the end if 2 offers wont get matched he will have to decide who he wants to pick

In the NBA if you sign someone to an offer sheet and the other team doesn't match you are stuck with that player, you don't get to back out of the contract for fear of your cap situation, or just pick your favorites. That's what deters NBA teams from doing what the T-Wolves did here, which was essentially to artificially inflate a bunch of player salaries. This should be addressed I think at some point before we do RFA next season...

i Cant do a week for RFA... but when we run its like a week .. its also the same in KVBL..
its just an offer sheet .. its not like they have signed with this teams.. if u had only a chance of offering 1 contract during RFA it would be stupid..

there isn't , and i dont think its a problem... you want to max out every player? so do it.. i dont think that wolves will be so happy if zeller will stay with them on max contract..

What happens to guys, who aren`t matched but also won`t sign with the new team? So in case of the Timberwolves here.

Let`s say Valenciuanas will go to the Wolves. Then Zeller and Jones won`t get matched but the Wolves have no cap left to take also these two.
Will they be UFA or will the next best offer in the RFA will get these?

Ok, so let's say I just happen to have just enough to offer a max contract next RFA (I won't, this is just a hypothetical)... I could go through and offer everyone in RFA a max 5 year deal, even the scrubs, with zero liability on my end... and that's alright? Doesn't that kind of kill restricted free agency as a concept and drive up salaries at the same time?

But doesn`t this "destroy" other chances? All players will go for your offer obviously. You just take one and others that aren`t matched will go to UFA although they might have got another good offer by another team?

most teams that are offering in RFA have room for 1 max player.. (dont count the nets cause it wont happen a lot - they had room for almost 3 max)
so what you are saying that all those teams can offer 1 contract..
so all of them would have offered that for anthony davis.. what about all the rest?
