My SIM league: Road to Glory
I didnt want to hijack any forums so I figured I would put this here where nothing is going to happen for a week.
My sim league Road to Glory launched last night. Its on an entirely different sim engine. One most of you have probably never seen. I ran R2G for 19 seasons from 2007-2009 with one restart (sim crash). I decided recently to bring my sim back and give it another go. The engine is Draft Day Sports Pro Basketball. It is by far the most in depth and advanced sim available. It allows you complete control of an NBA team just like a normal GM. You can hire or fire coaches. Set offensive pace, tempo, overall theme, pressure, player roatations, and player preference. YOu can send eligible players to the "D-League" for them to grow faster instead of on the end of your bench. Your second round pick can be left unsigned and sent to the euroleague. Where you can track their development on a sim by sim basis. The rosters are accurate to last week Monday. Ive recruited both leagues hard on multiple basketball sites the last couple days. Only eight spots left. Should have mine filled today after speaking with the Wolverine sports guys. If anyone was still thinking about joining and just waiting I would sign up today.
