Re: Draft Grades
So i thought on something that will increase the discussion between picks. You can post here your opinion on each pick that was made and give it grades (between A+ to F) and every round i'll sum it up and post the grades in the first post. Please do not throw here names of players who have'nt pick yet.
lets talk!

Re: Draft Grades
ok, i'll be first.
Warriors- C i thought that Nooby will picked here T-Jax but he decided to go with Kisamba who's a great player for sure but imo T-Jax is the better choise. Spurs- -A T-Jax is an easy choise. Celtics- C I'm not big fan of Anthony Davis and i don't think he should go this early. Nets- A D-Rose is a monster and i'm happy to see that Jay wasn't afraid to take him although he's a little bit old. Rockets- B+ KCP has so much imapct on the game and i love this pick Suns- A another easy pick with Brad Onasis. Raptors- F realy? WTF?!

Re: Draft Grades
Warriors-B (Kisamba)
A little controversial, but I don't mind it. Either can be great if you build properly. Clippers proved that and Nooby knows what he's doing. Spurs-A (Jackson) Obvious. Celtics- B+ (Anthony Davis) 3 seasons where he shot 57% from the field, he's only 26, and those 1-9s make me smile. I gave a B+ because it's still unknown how much I will be hurt by what I gave up to move from 20 to 3. Nets- B (Derrick Rose) D-Rose is a beast!! I respect BBallJay for taking the risk and trying to win immediately. Also like that he traded down and still grabbed a nice player while also setting himself up to add depth. Rockets-B- (KCP) KCP's % and volume combination is just not my style, but he's a very good player. Steals seem to be important in the FRSL, and the Rockets will certainly not struggle there. Suns- A (Onasis) I thought this guy would be gone earlier. High volume efficiency = priceless. Last edited by Drizzy; 10-21-2012 at 02:14 AM. |

Re: Draft Grades
Warriors-Kisamba (B-)
He's a great player that the Warriors can build around, but I still think that Jackson is the best all-around player in the game. Still not a bad pick though Spurs-Jackson (A+) Dude's the complete package. He scores efficiently for a PG, passes tremendously, doesn't turn it over much, plays solid defense, and rebounds well for a PG. Max is lucky to get him and this is a great first piece for a new GM to build around Celtics- Anthony Davis (B) I'm not a huge fan of Davis, but truthfully he's probably the right pick here. Personally, I would've tried to trade out of the pick, but I can't fault the C's for taking him. Nets- Derrick Rose (C+) I'm going to get some flak for the low grade, but I'm of the philosophy of taking young players. Derrick Rose is great, but how long he'll stay that way is completely up in the air. Rockets-KCP (C) He's probably the best defender in the game, but his shooting volume and less-than-impressive percentage are a big turn-off in my mind. He's great on the right team, but I don't like him as a guy to build around. Suns- Onasis (A) I thought he'd be drafted sooner, so this is a great pick-up for the Suns.

Re: Draft Grades
Warriors- A(Kisamba)
2nd best big in the game, at only 23. Spurs- A (Jackson) Best guard in the game. Celtics- A (Anthony Davis) Great anchor to build defense around, gives very efficient offense. Nets- C (Derrick Rose) Too old and ridiculously high volume for a PG. Tough to build around. Rockets- F (KCP) Just a horrible pick. Suns- A+ (Onasis) Amazing. Best SF in the game.

Re: Draft Grades
warriors - A- . (Kisamba)
gave A- cause i would have take tjax instead. spurs - A+ . (Jackson) Well there is nothing more to say .. Celtics - B+ . (Anthony Davis) great pick, but lets see if Drizzy will choose the right players next to Davis.. considering he lost some picks to move foward. Nets - A. (Derrick Rose) D-Rose is a top 3 player IMO.. good at everything he does .. kind of wondered to see if Bballjay will pick the right players next to him. Rockets - B-. (KCP) Not sure that he is the right player to start building around a franchise , but still he is a great player. Suns - A+. (Onasis) Huge fan of onasis , aero doesnt like to make mistakes and he nailed it here.

Re: Draft Grades
Warrios - Kisamba (A): Dominant at both ends of the floor, can also steal and pass the ball, great player. The cheap contract gives nooby some room for players on big contracts in the next rounds.
Spurs - Jackson (A+): These two were the obvious first two picks, but great PGs are hard to find. So I would've gone with T-Jax at #1 too. Celtics - Davis (A): Great player who deserves to finally be on good managed team. Nets - Rose (C+): Brave pick. That means you have to win now. If he does, my grade will be much better, but I have to see what kind of supporting crew the Nets can give Rose. Rockets - Caldwell-Pope (C-): I like KCP a lot and it's possible to win with him, but it's very difficult to build the right team around him. Don't really like him as the 1st option.

Re: Draft Grades
Warriors- Kisamba A-
Number two on my big board, so not a reach at all. Spurs- Jackson A+ Number one on my big board Celtics- Anthony Davis A If I would have kept my #4 pick, I would have been upset to see him go here because I would have wanted him at my pick. Nets- Derrick Rose B Risky move. Depends on the other picks. Rockets- KCP C Could be worse, could be better. If the Rockets commit to be a defensive team, it may actually pan out. Suns- Onasis A Was really hoping he would fall to 20... oh well Knicks - Kevin Durant B+ Gary lucked out with the Rockets taking KCP before him. Gary needs to go win now though... and we all know he doesn't know how to do that... Grizzlies - Michalik Pasterchuk B Interesting pick. Great scoring big. Again with the youth movement.

Re: Draft Grades
Warriors - Kisamba A
First two picks were expected. Just the order was questionable. Imo Terry Jackson would have been the better choice. Spurs - Jackson A+ Definitely my number 1. Celtics - Anthony Davis A- Really like Davis. One of the best bigs. Nets- Derrick Rose B+ He is older and so you might have thought to let him go down a bit more. But he is still a beast. Rockets- KCP C It might just be me. But I don`t like him. Great defender but horrible shooter. Suns- Onasis A Great pick for the Suns. Brilliant player. Knicks - Kevin Durant F Gary really had luck here to get Durant, who is by far the league`s best scorer. I really hope you wanted him. Otherwise you get the F for not showing up and take the auto-pick. Grizzlies - Michalik Pasterchuk B He proved to be a good player. Now coming to his 2nd season he is the Grizzlies go-to-guy.

Re: Draft Grades
I actually like all the picks exept KCP so far , I know game rates him high , but he's very hard to build around.

Re: Draft Grades
knicks (Gary)- F
give him F because it's an auto pick. If it wasn't auto he was getting A. Sonics (Omer)- C decided to go here with young core and i think that my 2nd an 3rd round picks will determine my franchise future. Grizzlies (orgen)- B+ Nice and suprising pick here. Michalik is probably the 2nd best pick in the league if you're taking into consideration age and contract. Bulls (Dornado)- A+ Linos is a top dog! he has it all, amazing D and great offensive game. Blazers (Kevin)- A+ D12 is the best player to take if you're in all-in mod. Kevin is showing no fear!

Re: Draft Grades
I like all the picks so far .
KD and D12 fell a bit so Gary and Kevin earned from it..imo I dont think Pasterchuk is a top 10 pick
