Why are the first two rounds shortend? It's not impossible for a bad team to steal 2 games. Winning 2 out 3 games does not qualify you as a better team. I think if you want to shorten the playoffs and ensure the best teams remain in the end, top 4 teams in each conference should be in the playoffs. Maybe you have a reason I'm missing, but I think it should remain a 7 game series (at least 5 in the 1st round). Aren't we at 22 teams? Also, I thought a lot of veteran guys wanted to join with the incorporation of retro players?

imo it's the opposite, you have better chacne to win the top 4 teams on a 3 games series.

Yeah, that was my point. An 8 seeded team has a higher chance of beating a 1 seeded team in a 3 game series. But why would you want that? The best teams should play in the end. The playoffs should be structured to ensure the best team wins, not the luckiest. That's why Stern extended it in the first place

I am actually starting to like these ideas. I want the New Orleans Jazz (obviously).

I'm in favor of a full snake, 2012 rosters, a sprinkling of classic players, and the KVBL contract extension method.

I would prefer a full playoffs, but I'm okay with whatever everyone agrees on.

24 is a very good number. 2/3 of the league makes the playoffs. Lottery is only 8 teams. Very nice. What would the chances of winning the lottery look like?

KJ agreed to join, so now we have 21 GMs. I still don't know if Memphis'x is in or not and Kingsgm won't get a team untill he'll give me his mail.

I'm not crazy about mixing up eras, personally. I'd like to pick a year rather than have some guy from the 80's randomly inserted. Just my two cents.
