Another main factor you need to factor in is that shmip is gone if it is a retro league. For me, that's another big factor...

if it's retro I'm probably out too. I understand all the pros you guys have talked about for the retro sim league, but its just not something that appeals to me personally.

I don't feel like the choice between retro/2012 is going to add a lot of new GMs either way. If anything I think we will lose some of our current GMs by going retro just from reading the posts before this one. I'd be less enthusiastic about retro as well. I'd stick around and check it out but I'm not sure about how interested I would be.

im only up for snake draft .. that way it brings your gm skills the best (expcially when we will have new ratings) ..not a fan of starting with current rosters (who wouldn't like to take the lakers?! , and who the hell would want to take the wiz?!or cavs)

So the majority of the GMs wants to do it 2012 rosters. Also we have 16 GMs who sgined in but we won't start anything untill we have 26-28 GMs who sined in.

I'm also against full snake draft, maybe we can do 5 rounds and let JSB sim the rest but i also prefer to to start with current rosters and i don't mind to take the Cavs/Wiz/Suns w/e
