if theres a snake draft im not sure what ill do. probably just take all autopicks, f a snake draft. any inexperienced/new gm will get screwed in a snake draft. snakes only benefit the most active and most experienced. what if jsb makes all the picks, just randomize the entire league and everyone gets a even chance to start. i wont quit over a snake draft, but i also wont participate fully until its done. ill probably make a pick or three at the beginning then check out till the sims start. smh we just got done with a snake draft, the most boring, time consuming, frustrating slow part of frsl.

I also find this idea appealing... but i afraid we maybe might get stuck with 2-4 good teams that might be over the other teams for long time.

But I think it would be easier for you to put in proper rules to regulate dynasties than to find almost a dozen GMs who may just leave eventually anyway. You don't have to depend on others to keep the league going, its on you guys as the commissioners to put something in place that will make things competitive.

Just do 6-7 rounds, then auto the rest, but have teams give "no draft" lists for players with terrible contracts

If we do 20 teams, I'm confident the league will be active-count me in. I'd like to be the Celtics.

I also think a snake draft is necessary, but maybe that attitude isn't the best way to attract new GMs??

I'm in since its 2012, but I'm not thrilled about the idea of sitting through another snake draft, but I also don't like the idea of starting with real rosters because certain teams would have obvious advantages. I kind of like the idea of just letting the system do it and having everyone start with random teams. You don't have to worry about people tanking in the snake and everyone starts on a relatively even playing field. Those first couple seasons would really come down to who can GM the best and not who can put together the best team.

No trading during the draft makes a hell of a lot of sense.

I'm good. I'll take the Wolves. I'm fine with a full snake draft I guess. I can also help out with names and write ups for college players (I love that kind of stuff)
