If you put me in charge of doing the draft classes, i could have 40 real life college players/prospects for a few years, then possibly some sons cousins or grandchildren of previous players. I'd be up for that.

What about using current rosters in so far as you keep the top 3 players of that team. (Lebron, Wade, Bosh or Kobe, Dwight, Pau/Nash etc.) and then snake draft the rest.

Pretty sure this wins the worst draft idea in this thread award. Hands down. There is not a better way to make it more unfair.

How is it unfair? Some trios are pretty good but aging and players may regress or retire. Also, better players also have higher salaries, so harder to keep in tact with a salary cap. Plus, using a reverse win draft order and doing linear instead of snake style. Younger improving cores can also add high draft picks in to their core in the following draft.

Seriously? This would only make sense if we only got 24 GMs. That way all the players from 6 teams in the league would be completely available. That would be the only way to make your method remotely fair in terms of competitive balance.

Having full snake or full current roster has competitive unbalance too. I just brought it up as a potential 3rd option compromise.
