I took a long look at Deron Williams, but I just couldn't justify paying him that insane contract with those ratings.

I think having only 24 teams is contributing to that. I just got finished doing the math on my positional big board, and there are going to be decent players still around in the 10th round.

For comparison, the last snake draft on this site (The League) ran out of good players around the end of the 6th round. Talent level will be very high.

Everybody (except Hunerman) seems to be trying to go win now. It'll be interesting to see how my "draft the best players available without trading picks" strategy works out.

Yep, Thad was the other guy I was debating when I took Millsap. I think Millsap is slightly better, but Thad is young and signed to a pretty good contract.

Will be surprised if no one takes my "Who gives a **** about salary?" approach from last snake draft. Sooo much talent that drops, and even overpaid contracts for good players.

It will be... except that this means injuries will play a much bigger role than normal.

I was tempted to, but with the team strategy I'm looking to create, I don't think I'll have to.

I just hope I don't find myself in a position where I feel pressured to take one of those falling talents guys only to see them still looming over my franchise in 3 seasons.

Nene has that static contract that doesn't go up in value each year. I thought about him as well back when I chose Tyson, but I just opted for defense over offense.
