Someone is trying to tell me that Irving is better than Rondo right now in the FRSL. Please clear this matter up

Shooting, yes and maybe handles and that's it, period and if Irving is currently better than Rondo in this League (or any league for that matter), something needs to be done about the sim software, ratings system, etc and not sure I'd want to participate in it if he is.

Man, Irving does not have as much value as Rondo. And in our talks you said and I quote Irving is light years ahead of Rondo on offense.

Really light years? He's a little better on offense, but doesn't even come close to compairing to Rondo in anything else.

Irving is a better offensive perimeter player (light years), but that's all I will give him really. Rondo is arguably the best defensive 1 in the league (though some would argue he's overrated there, the difference is still not enough to rank him below anyone in my opinion).

it looks as though one team wanted to make a trade based on Rondo for Irving and the other team didnt. that should answer the question "which player has more value". also draft order, if irving had so much value why was he passed on by so many teams?

absolutely it has bearing on value. would any of the teams trade their player they picked ahead of irving? no, if they wanted him they could have had him. value is set by the market and no teams value him more than the player they choose.
