Was a hard decision as I really could need Mbah`s defense. But on the other hand I really needed a PG and I didn`t really like the draft PG`s. And Ed Davis gives me a better backup for Gasol/Ibaka than I had last season.

Also depending on the draft I should have a solid team next season. (Only need to hope for some defensive 1-9 progressions for my young wings in the next seasons)

Knight progressed really nicely, and Davis is a nice young big. They could both progress more. I think the trade fits both our plans.

Agree. Mbah a Moute wasn`t even starting every time. Was always a close call between him and Turner last season. And I surely had too many options for SG/SF but too less real options for the PG and in especially PF/C. Behind Gasol and Ibaka there was nothing really.

So getting a well improved Knight as possible starting PG, which brings Curry to SG and a solid big behind my starters isn`t too bad. Plus it makes the team younger with even more room for improvements.

I actually like this trade for both teams, but I like it a little more for the Pacers.
