I don't get this for the 76ers , why go for 37 year old duncan when your not sure you can contend right away ? or do you ?

Cyclones max the value they can get for Duncan here , great job.

Wait so the 76ers front court is now Dirk/Duncan/Faried and Henefeld? That could be nasty if used correctly. I want to know what LGC's offer was that was better than this, though.

umz I guss ur right 76ers have a very good team now with Henefeld/Papalukas/Duncan additions , they are the deepest team in the league! smh bobstackhouse should have taken the 2 1st rounders from me ~_~ the fact that I finish 1st last year makes the picture unclear , im not even close to have the best team in the east.

You know how hard it is to trade your first rounders when you finished first Smath. You can't be surprised that people aren't jumping to get those picks.

I did get knocked out in the 1st round... think alot of teams have improved , but bob is a new GM he just looks at the table and see im 1st.. oh well , hope it works out for both teams.

you asked for the minimum. I told you what the minimum was to get in the bidding. If you really wanted him you would have made above minimum offer.

I offered you Kendrick Perkins (26 years old), Danny Green (26 yrs old), and my 1st round pick 2 years from now. Those are not only two serviceable players that have more trade value than the players you acquired but my pick would likely have been better than any of the sixers' picks. Not only do I not have a 1st rounder next season, but my cap situation prevents me from doing anything in free agency. Sixers' have cap space this season and will clear another 22 million off from Dirk and they have one of the youngest teams in the league. My starting point guard and my back-up are both 37 years old.

Bob, I'm rooting for you. You were patient and got back what you felt was best for your team, but the Celtics are very frustrated with your decision.
