Celtics receives: Alexey Shved.

Vipers trades: Alexey Shved.
Vipers receives: Monta Ellis.

No one is going to care about this trade because of the caliber of the blockbusters lately so I thought I'd have a Celtic monologue for a few moments...Shved is a young piece to come off my bench after I'm done collecting pieces. Also, I'd like to take this time and call out the teams below the Celtics in the standing right now, specifically Jay's Nets. I much rather miss the playoffs and compete for a high a draft pick but I'm not going to waste a season making a "tank DC." If you want my playoff spot, you're going to have to take it.

Ellis is going to carry the Vipers out of the basement and past the Knicks who should be taking over the cozy basement suite after the next sim.

I think the Knicks just overachieved in Year 1 so expectations rose really high.

You couldn't be more wrong. He traded his 1st and I forget which players for Tony Parker, which in the right scenario would be a good trade. But not for his team, he already had DWill and only used Tony Parker 14 minutes a game.

I feel like I made a decent move going forward. Shved is 25 and a RFA. If he regresses, I don't have to keep him. If he gets better or even stays the same, I have a nice piece off the bench. What was I going to do with Ellis? Beat the Pacers?
