I think the sports media is biased towards the Warriors and brown nose the lakers..

After the warriors defeated the lakers for the second time this year.. and right after the lakers so called back in track after 7 straight wins.. get beat by the W's.. we get no love for ESPN, or on the online sport news pages.. Both wins.. every other teams gets love on espn and stuff showing the high lights.. but during the warriors defeat of the lakers... they just show the high lights for the lakers.. but non for the W's eventhough the beat the 3timers...

Aint that funny..

Sadly, it's true ... the media is definitely biased. In fact, here in LA the Clippers cannot get love even from local media.

I personally contacted CBS (local channel 2) to complain re: Jim Hill and his favoritisim. I said to them:

* "please let your sports director know that there are two pro basketball teams in LA, the other one is called the Clippers.

* Also let him know, the Clippers [at the time] has a better record than the Lakers. I explained that I understand the Lakers are the "Champs", but that the Clippers still exist and have ALOT of fans, selling out Staples Center.

* I also informed them that it was because of Hill's bias when he worked for another station that I and several others stopped watching that channel and that if I must, I will search out another station that knew the Clippers play for LA".

I am happy to report that Jim Hill has discovered the Clippers, and to his credit makes an effort to now include them in his broadcast.

I said all of that to say ... you're not alone in your disgust over media coverage. Which is basically my problem with the league ... we never get to hear enough about ALL of the teams whether their leading the league or not. For some reason, the league doesn't get that most FANS are about the competition of the sport.

the nba is the only league that thinks they have to promote certain teams or players for them to be viable.in football you can win the superbowl and if your're down the next year the networks or the media could care less.in the nba they are still riding jordans coattails.how many times do we have to watch the wizards this year?the lakers the same thing.heck they even gave them a game six last year against the kings so that they could keep the laker mystique going.screw the lakers.

Last Night was a good start

That's how we get rid of the bias. We win, we win again and we keep winning. They will come around. Last night I almost died watching TNT. I have NEVER heard that many positive things said about the Warriors on national television. Once the Warriors truely establish that they are a GOOD team, they will get the respect they deserve. Ubtil then Barkley rips us a new one.

you could not be more right about that Nismo. I HOPE we take down Malone and then we can see what Sir Charles says. You know how much he loves Harpring and the Jazz..
