Warriors Outstanding Trade With Philly, Pls. Check This Out..

DOES THAT MEAN WE OWE THEM A PICK, OR A SECOND ROUNDER ONLY FOR 2004? Since we already gave them back the pick we got from them for the Vonteego trade..

and what should we do with this pick..?

Golden State Warriors

Recieves 2nd round pick from Minnesota. #2. Must be Minnesota's. No option. Due and paid in 2007. No protection.

(February 21, 2002: Warriors trade C Marc Jackson to Minnesota Timberwolves for C Dean Garrett
and a second-round draft choice in 2007)

Debits

1st or 2nd round pick to Philadelphia. Must be Golden State's pick. No option. Due by 2004. Top-26 protected in '03. If Golden State's first-round pick in 2003 is between 1 and 26, Golden State's own second round pick will be conveyed in 2004.

(June 26, 2002: Warriors trade a 2005 first-round draft choice and a future first or second round pick to Philadelphia 76ers for rights to G Jiri Welsch)

Note

Golden State acquired a 2005 first-round draft choice from Philadelphia on October 25, 2001. The
Warriors traded that pick back to Philadelphia in the Jiri Welsch trade.

(October 25, 2001: Warriors trade F Corie Blount and G Vonteego Cummings and F Chris Porter to
Charlotte Hornets in a three-team trade. Philadelphia also received F Derrick Coleman from Hornets, and Hornets received F George Lynch, F Robert Traylor and F Jerome Moiso from 76ers. Warriors received F Cedric Henderson and a 2005 first-round draft choice from 76ers.)

In the end, the Warriors get:

T'wolves 2nd round pick on 07 w/ no protection.

Philly gets the Warrior's (no other aquired picks) 1st round pick in 03 as long it is not a pick between 1-26. If the Warriors have a pick w/in the top 26 players, then Philly will get the Warrior's 2nd round pick in '04. They also give back the Philly's '05 pick aquired in the 3 team trade.

or

When the draft comes around this year, the Warriors will draft for themselves and end up giving up a future 2nd rounder to Philly. I doubt the Warriors first round pick will be any lower than 20.

We don't loose anymore of our 1st round picks besides the 1st rounder we gave back to them?

if you can make sense of that Nismo, you should run for president. I see spots after thinking about that kind of crazy trade stuff.

I think you are a fan for sure but your trade knowledge has nothing to do with it in my opinion.
