They aren't gonna win the championship. I'd be happy for them to make the playoffs.

Vegas has got this WAY wrong. W's are easily the best team in California...sure, they haven't sniffed the playoffs in over a decade, but to put better odds on the Kings or Clippers...or LAKERS? Way off here, Vegas.

Thumbs up Re: Warriors NBA World 2005-2006 Champions

halfbreed I believe the Warriors are just as good, well since the Suns losing some key players I believe the Warriors are better than the Suns now they lost Richardson and Joe Johnson so I think the Warriors should be in the 4th spot on the chance of winning the championship. I'm saying this because the Warriors are that damn good. PEACE

I love the enthusiasm. I hope they are that good, but the Suns have the reigning MVP and one of the most dominant players in the league on their team.

I'm gonna take issue with every time I see the words 'World Champion' gets associated with NBA championship. For crying out loud, when do the average Joes gonna realized NBA champion does not equals to world champion?

Hey there to all in warrior land. I really like the makeup of your team and am sure they will be one of the more exciting teams in the league. I will definitely be supporting them and the nets, and hope they make some noise in the league and playoffs next year.

Where is the no playoff option. I love the Warriors but I think that they will have to prove to me that they can win a playoff series before they go out and win the championship. Baron Davis=Warriors future

Re: Warriors NBA World 2005-2006 Champions

I love the passion of the Warriors fans, and it's great to believe in your team - especially considering that there's good reason to believe in a team like this. But, I really have to wonder if anyone here truly believes that the Warriors are championship caliber right now. Believe me, I'm a Clippers fan and I want nothing more than to believe that my team is of that caliber, but I have to look at things from a clear and realistic standpoint. Taking nothing away from the Warriors, the team is very nice. I just don't see them having all the components in place to make a serious NBA Finals run, now playoffs - that's a whole different story. I would think 50-55 wins is a realistic goal for this team, along with making the playoffs and possibly winning a first round series. In a couple of seasons with a little more experience and a bit more depth in the frontcourt we just might be looking at a serious contender, but from where I stand I don't see it right now.

If there were ever going to be a rags-to-riches cinderalla champion it would have been last year's Suns. Gotta remember, San Antonio is still intact, Houston just got a whole lot better, the Clippers, Jazz and Nuggets are all improved and there's still the Suns, Mavs, Grizz, Kings, T-Wolves and Sonics to think about...This conference is so absolutely stacked from top to bottom it's gonna be a dogfight just to get that last playoff spot. But hey, who really knows? I would be more than happy to eat my words if the Warriors actually do become NBA champions, I just think it's a bit ambitious at this point. I'm definitely looking forward to the division rivalries though with the Clipps and Lakers. Well, good luck GS fans. Even if they're not champions, they're still going to be a damn fun team to watch, I'll be checking em out on League Pass for sure.
