Re: Warriors sign chris taft
Good signing, I'd give him some experience in the NBDL before making it to the NBA, he can use some more development, conditioning and tweaking of attitude. He looks like he can be a good player if he puts his mind to it so it looks like we just have to wait and see.

Re: Warriors sign chris taft
I wonder if he'll be in the D League next year or sitting the bench in the NBA

He'd make much more progress in the D League. He has athleticism and some talent but he has a lot of refining and tweaking to do (judging from his college career, I did not catch any summer league games).
Did you happen to catch any of the summer league action? I heard Ike Diogu and Monta Ellis were both STUDS, I think Ike made 1st Team and Monta made 2nd Team. A lot of people are already starting to make loose comparisons of Monta and Gilbert Arenas.

I've actually seen a few comparisons on the net of Ellis to AI.

I don't know about AI, but he can play. No D-League necessary for Monta.

It's known that the coaching staff asked him to be more aggressive and score more, he's a scorer. I'm not sure about his defense but maybe in a backup role or in a few years, he can be our Ben Gordon.

Summerleague reports say that he is a very aggressive defender. On offense he has a lot of ability in creating space for himself and shoots the 3 very well.
