Warriors didn't use Amnesty Cut

Warriors didn't use the Amnesty cut.

Foyle and Fisher are here to stay.

Re: Warriors didn't use Amnesty Cut

Why cut them and pay them for the next 5 years? Makes sense to at least make them try to earn that money w/ Golden State. Otherwise, G.S. pays the 5 years left on their contract, then sees them play somewhere else.

Down the road, either one of these players could be used in a trade. I can see it easier with Fisher, going to a team that needs a veteran PG desperately (all while Ellis relishes in his role as B-Diddy's back-up).

Brutal, brutal contracts, but I don't see the purpose of cutting someone who you just signed.

Might as well keep them around, especially when you're going to be so much better than you were when you signed those bums.
