Re: hoopshype.com season preview
Whoa...whoa...
Now, I like the Warriors too, but I think that place is very accurate if not generous. You may very well be the strongest team in california (On paper Sacramento should be better, but if Chemistry becomes a factor, as it always seems to with Bonzi, and losing, as it is with SAR...) but that in honesty doesn't mean alot. Remember, Phoenix is still head and shoulders above what you have (Biedrins and Foyle != Amare). The Spurs, the Mavericks, Rockets, Denver, Memphis, Sacramento have been consistently making the playoffs, and the Sonics and Suns seemed recharged and prepared to make the playoffs. You have to knock off one of these guys. And the Lakers are not going to make the playoffs this year. It's probably alot better for them if they don't.
Concerning what happened last year, those games didn't matter for anyone. And now the Warriors have lost the element of surprise. They aren't going to be leading their division after a ten year absence from the playoffs. They aren't being forth or fifth either.
I like the Warriors at 6th - 8th.
