Thumbs up Re: hoopshype.com season preview

I see the Lakers at that spot maybe, but I see the Warriors in the maybe these 3 spots. I say 3rd, fourth, and maybe the 5th spot. Thats some bull they give us the 8th spot, did they see how we finished last season when baron came. Before he came we were like I think 10 - 36 or 18 - 36, then when baron came we were 18 - 10 so I say 8th spot my ***. Warriors are a way better team now and I say best team in California, yeah I said it the Warriors. If Mullin pulls something off with a Center we will be a tough team to beat. Shaq already said Warriors will be a tough team to beat this upcoming season, when he was out here motion capturing for his new game NBA 2k6. There is a rumor of a tough Center out in international mullin has just signed to the Warriors training camp.

Re: hoopshype.com season preview

Whoa...whoa...

Now, I like the Warriors too, but I think that place is very accurate if not generous. You may very well be the strongest team in california (On paper Sacramento should be better, but if Chemistry becomes a factor, as it always seems to with Bonzi, and losing, as it is with SAR...) but that in honesty doesn't mean alot. Remember, Phoenix is still head and shoulders above what you have (Biedrins and Foyle != Amare). The Spurs, the Mavericks, Rockets, Denver, Memphis, Sacramento have been consistently making the playoffs, and the Sonics and Suns seemed recharged and prepared to make the playoffs. You have to knock off one of these guys. And the Lakers are not going to make the playoffs this year. It's probably alot better for them if they don't.

Concerning what happened last year, those games didn't matter for anyone. And now the Warriors have lost the element of surprise. They aren't going to be leading their division after a ten year absence from the playoffs. They aren't being forth or fifth either.

I like the Warriors at 6th - 8th.

Re: hoopshype.com season preview

Teams aren't gonna be suprised by the Warriors this year. The defensive liabilities will be exposed. Still, though, I like our chances as the 8th seed with our athletic backcourt. This is Dunleavy's put up or shut up year. If he steps up, this team can make some noise.
