I don't know if the Lakers have cap room or whatever, but how about Danny Fortson for Mark Madsen+ next year's 1st round pick? I know Mark Madsen sucks ***, but we rusted up Fortson enough this season, and he shouldn't be a big factor in L.A. In addition, I believe Mark Madsen's contract will end after this year, so we will have even more cap room.

Lakers get: Fortson

Warriors get: Mark Madsen+ 2004 draft 1st round pick.

Ok, Madsen's contract does have a team option, so I guess the Warriors can let him go.

There is something called "team salary cap."

After this year, they can let him go, with the team option.

i think its good for the warriors but the lakers would never take it. first round pick is too much for fortson. he is only marginally better than walker or fox.
