Recap: Kings Cruise Past Warriors

Baron Davis led the Warriors with 22 points on 8-of-14 shooting. He also dished out six assists and grabbed four rebounds in 27 minutes.

Troy Murphy added 15 points and eight rebounds for Golden State, which shot under 42 percent (32-of-77) and made just 28-of-42 from the free-throw line.

114-99, Kings.

I don't think it was ever close. Kings have a lot of talented forwards. Peja, SAR, Corliss Williamson, Kenny Thomas, Brian Skinner... the last 3 are well reputed workhorses. I wish i could've seen the game so i could get a handle on Sacto's style this year. I'm interested in how all their new pieces fit with Bibby, Peja and Miller. Judging by the score, they do have the ability to put the points up.

Hope JRich comes back soon. His absence further illuminates just how fragile the balance of GS's team is. If any of our starting guys are absent, it'll be an uphill battle to compete. On the bright side, Pietrus probably started and got a chance to try to prove his point. I'm not really sure if he did though.
