Re: Voice your opinion on ESPN.com!

I just voted. Here are the current overall results they gave me:

1) Where will the Warriors finish in the Pacific Division (with L.A. Clippers, L.A. Lakers, Phoenix and Sacramento)?

32.6% Third

32.4% First

23.1% Second

9.2% Fourth

2.8% Fifth

2) Oddsmakers set the over/under on Warriors wins at 41.5. How many games will they win?

87.7% 42 or more

12.3% 41 or fewer

3) The Warriors went 18-10 after acquiring Baron Davis last season. Can the Warriors carry that success over into this season?

85.1% Yes, this team will finally snap its playoff drought

12.9% Yes, but their improvement still won't be enough for a playoff berth

2.0% No, last season there was no pressure since they were out of the race already

4) Golden State is quite thin at power forward and center. Which of these players do you expect to have the greatest impact this season?

47.2% Andris Biedrins

36.8% Ike Diogu

10.3% Zarko Cabarkapa

5.7% Chris Taft

5) What should the Warriors do at small forward this season?

37.3% Start Mickael Pietrus to upgrade team defense

34.4% Start Mike Dunleavy, continue to develop him and decide on a contract extension

28.4% Go with hot hand, and everything will play itself out

6) Which of the following best describes your feelings about Baron Davis?

87.3% Impressive talent and key to Warriors season

9.4% Too injury prone to be counted on for a full season

3.4% Shoots way too many 3-pointers

Total Votes: 685

Re: Voice your opinion on ESPN.com!

I agreed w/ the majority on everything except the SF question--we've gotta start Mike D to (1) continue to see what we've got (if even it's being given to us in a contract-year performance) and (2) remain consistant. Pietrus is a HUGE lift off the bench and should probably be groomed into a 6th man role this season.

Re: Voice your opinion on ESPN.com!

Dunleavy's 30 point game seems to have swayed the opinion.
