Re: Warriors vs. Jazz (11/4)
Do not be fooled by the Jazz...there is talent, coaching, and effort all coming from the squad from Salt Lake. The best thing that could have happened for the Warriors was the Jazz beating the Mavs (especially on the heels of the Mavs double OT victory vs. Phoenix). The Jazz will be a team many teams will overlook. Hopefully, we won't do so tonight.
I see us having much more of a struggle tonight. Maybe we have a better first half performance, but overall, the Jazz will give us a bigger problem.
Worst case senario, we struggle playing w/out Baron (is there any word on his status for tonight's game???), but can pull out a win vs. the Jazz.
Warriors 92
Jazz 87

Re: Warriors vs. Jazz (11/4)
He will be back tonight and I know the Jazz has talent but we still better I say we win 88-130, if not that anyway it will be a blowout or a win.

Re: Warriors vs. Jazz (11/4)
The Warriors lose 91-85.
I'm concerned that losing without Baron in the line-up may negatively affect the rest of the team in a psychological way. They may feel like they just Can't win unless he's playing. It's true that Baron is the star of this team, but the rest of the players need to be able to still execute a game plan when he's absent and not go down without a fight.
I've said it before... this team has a very fragile chemistry. It seems that if any of the starters are out, the team as a whole is significantly weaker.
Anyone out there got a bionic hamstring lying around??

Re: Warriors vs. Jazz (11/4)
We really lost the game because of the free throws. If Warriors would have hit those we would have won, oh well. We have a game on Sunday against the Knicks we have to hit free throws to win that game.

Yeah, free throws are really killing us. We would have won if we hit those...but watching that 65%~ FT shooting just kills me...

Re: Warriors vs. Jazz (11/4)
It's the first week of the season, and already Baron, Biedrins, and Diogu are injured (although Diogu was injured in preseason). We had a glaring need for a big man last night, and we ended up playing Taft for some uninspired minutes. Diogu needs to come back ASAP.
Also, having to play Aaron Miles is pretty rough. Baron really needs to get his **** together.

Re: Warriors vs. Jazz (11/4)
Go get Aaron Williams of Toronto...
Send Cheaney to Milwaukee, which send Reece Gaines to TO, which send Aaron to GS. It works because GS have a trade exception, according to RealGM.
Why?
GS: Get in Aaron a veteran defensive PF, which can help this team and isn't getting PT in TO because they have a bunch of PF's.
Milwaukee: Get an experienced SF in Cheaney... which can help more than Reece.
TO: Get a young SG/PG in Gaines, which have a smaller contract and can earn some PT...
