Re: Warriors @ Suns (1/12)
Golden State Warriors 93
Phoenix Suns 115
Low expectations for the Warriors should guarantee that they do better than this.

Yep. And they haven't looked like a playoff team since November. I really hope MP coming back will help, but it's pretty clear that there are some major things wrong right now. The D is soft, and the offense is WAY too perimeter oriented. I swear when Baron puts it up from 3 I already know it's not gonna go in. The team gets off to horrible starts and can't get back into games.

Re: Warriors @ Suns (1/12)
I doubt Pietrus will be enough to stem the tide of all these defeats...the last 1 1/2 months have shown the Warriors playing like pre-Baron trade.
There's plenty of blame to go around, but I'd say that as a collective effort the W's are just doing poorly and adjustments need to be made in how they play.

Re: Warriors @ Suns (1/12)
Agreed. It's a LOT like it was before Baron got here...undisciplined and uninspired play. I can't help but wonder if MM will be around much longer if this is the effort he's getting out of the team, ESPECIALLY on the defensive end. Then again, it'd be nice to see J-Rich pick it up offensively also.

What happens when a team loses a game they labeled as a "must-win?" The Warriors are about to find out.
Golden State lost its fourth consecutive game Thursday, dropping a 112-99 decision to the run-and-gun Suns. Of all those losses, this one probably hurts the most because it sunk the Warriors below .500 for the first time this season.
The Warriors, once six games above .500, now must begin the climb back with their defense non-existent and their offense in shambles. Six Phoenix players scored in double digits and Golden State allowed Phoenix to shoot 52 percent from both the field and 3-point line.

Re: Warriors @ Suns (1/12)
Warriors need to make up there mind.
Either run the opponent out of the building or focus all your attention on D.
The Suns last year said "We're gonna run, try to keep up with us"
I think the Warriors need to do the same thing.

Simple but I think you're right. The Warriors don't have an identity right now - They want to run but couldn't stop opponents from shooting a high percentages, which led to limited fastbreak opportunity, and they can't defend at all.
