Good for Warriors and Pacers, bad for Kings. Dunleavy has a bad contract and doesn't play any D (except for on Lebron).

Re: Some one posted a 3 way trade , what do you think
I read on hoopshypes rumors that someone from mlive.com they heard from 2 sources that Pacers wanted to trade Artest for Peja and then trade him to you guys for Murphy.
Not sure how much truth to it is but here ya go
http://www.mlive.com/pistons/weblog/

But there is good news on the way in the form of Peja.
No, Peja isn't going to help Indy become a better team. What he will do is help them land an even better player.
One of the teams that Indiana talked to about Artest was Golden State, with Troy Murphy being the guy the Pacers want.
Chris Mullin isn't stupid. There is no way you trade a player like Murphy for a basket case like Artest.
Now, if you're talking Peja for Murphy, well, that's something different
I spoke with two different NBA sources today who each said that the Pacers want Peja in order to move him elsewhere as soon as possible.
One source mentioned three teams that Indiana would consider shipping Peja to. The other source mentioned two teams. The only team both mentioned was Golden State, with each saying that Indiana would get Murphy and send Peja to the Warriors.
That would be an awesome deal for both teams. Golden State is absolutely in love with jacking up 3s. Peja would actually give them a player who can make them.
And by moving Murphy, this would give rookie Ike Diogu a chance to play a bigger role, which the Warriors definitely want to happen.
Indiana is in desperate need of a little more toughness inside. While Murphy doesn't bring it in terms of toughness the way Artest does, he's not exactly a pushover, either.
I really think Murphy would give the Pacers a legitimate shot of getting past the first round of the playoffs. As they are now, I'm not convinced that this team will even make the playoffs.

Re: Some one posted a 3 way trade , what do you think
I think that a more fair deal is a four team swap...
Sactown trade Peja to Warriors, and Corliss with Skinner to Chicago
Chicago trade Tim Thomas and Malik Allen to Sactown
Indiana trade Ron Artest to Sactown, Fred Jones and Eddie Gill to Warriors
Warriors trade Dunleavy, Pietrus and Cheaney to Indy...
Like I wrote in Sactown board, it would be good for Sactown, since Tim Thomas have a big expiring contract, and is a shooter, providing a sparkplug shooting off the bench(neither CWill or Skinner are great scorers)... Chicago would be a better and tougher team with Skinner (they badly needed another big and some defenders)...
GS will like Peja scoring habilities, and having Freddie coming off the bench is pretty good too. Oh, and Eddie Gill is an insurance in injury cases...
To Indy, I do really think that having Dun and Pietrus is better than having Peja for now... Pietrus replace SOME of Artest defense and toughness, while Dunleavy can come off the bench with his versatility... Oh, and Cheaney is a good locker room presence also...

Well, I've also heard the rumors, inevitably bringing Peja to Golden State for T-Murph. Murphy was bound to be moved, espeically if Mullin is saying Diogu is 'untouchable'.
I only wonder how the heck is Peja plan to get his 3-point shot off? Are there enough money balls between J-Rich, Baron, Fish, and Peja?
