Will the Warriors make the playoffs this year?
I don't think we can do it this year. We would have to win almost every game at home and win a good chunk on the road (almost 50%). I don't really see that happening in a competitive Western Conference...hell, we can't even win on the road. I see us winning about 39 games...meaning we're around .500 the rest of the season.
Will next year be our year?

Re: Will the Warriors make the playoffs this year?
i think we will either just make it or just miss out...as a warrior fan i think we will make it...Whether or not we make it this year, next year will defenetly the warriors breakout year...Biedrins will be scoring, rebounding and blocking better next year and ellis will improve on his jump shot and will be a 20+ppg player...And we also got an explosive and healthy J-Rich next season...Baron and Harrington with do there thing as usual...Next Year Warriors will make the playoffs with ease. Book it

I think the warriors will just miss out on the playoffs, only because the clippers, wolves and maybe denver are going to finish with the better record at the end of the season, but next year you guys will make the playoffs

Every year we say next year and next year. I believe we can make .500 if we beat pacers and wolves on the road and win our two games at home. Which we are good at home.

Re: Will the Warriors make the playoffs this year?
i agree. every year we say "oh next year watch out" and it never happens. do you think the good teams in the league say "oh next year" everytime they lose? i'm sick of it. i believe the warriors this year healthy and strong are good enough to be called an 8th seed team. however, we won't make it. in order to figure out if we'll make the playoffs we have to look at the teams we're going against. we are easily a playoff bubble team, but look at the other teams bubbling and i don't think we have the shot.
as of today, the clips hold 7 and they are starting to play like everyone expected them to play to either top the pacific division or challenge phoenix. that won't happen anymore, but if they were playing like this all year they may be above the LA team.
denver holds 8, and as we all sort of hope we can get 8, its a matter of time before carmelo and AI start to play together. it's a matter of time before camby gets injured as well, so we'll see...but really, it's hard to write off or even think that a team with carmelo and allen won't make the playoffs.
we're at 9, which is where i think we'll ultimately end up at the end of the season. and of course it will hurt like hell. the teams ahead of us are just way way way too good for us to get. wouldn't it be funny tho if we get 8th and dallas is still 1st? it's the only team in the top 4 that we can beat on a consistant basis, especially with jrich.
minnesota is at 10 and even the hornets are at 11 who are good now that chandler learned how to play basketball and CP3 and david west are back. i think at the end of the season hornets are either 9th or 10th, and garnett will opt out of his player optionwhich comes up after next year. perhaps join denver for a vet contract...(it's not like he needs more money) plus it keeps him in a snowy weather condition.
