KG coming to the Bay?
Quote:
With Minnesota seeking prospects, the Warriors are now offering Brandan Wright, Monta Ellis and Patrick O'Bryant in exchange for Kevin Garnett.
Minnesota is asking for Andris Biedrins. Golden State is offering Al Harrington instead and may also insist that Garnett waive his $6.5-million trade kicker, so it's not done yet.

Re: KG coming to the Bay?
Man, W's MUST give Biedrins if needed.
Biedrins, Al, Ellis and Brandan Wright. If KG don't waive his TK, send Jasikevicius contract to help filling salaries. But I'd rather see W's offering one or two 2nd rounder in order to keep Biedrins and send O'Bryant instead of him.
Then, trade Foyle to NY in August 28th for Jerome James and Fred Jones (or even Dan Dickau)

agreed. i'd give firsts if the t'wolves wanted, though. i'd love to see this deal go through, especially for the warriors, especially if they keep biedrins.

Don't fool yourself. He has a few years left in his prime. The Warriors need a player like Keven Garnett for Tim Duncan.

We defenetly need him. The Warriors would be a WAY better team with Garnett. But then what after the few years Garnett has left in him? He will not be an allstar player anymore, meanwhile ellis, biedrins, wright will just start becoming star players, maybe even all stars.
Sure none of those players are like Garnett, but trading away all of of those players(average age probably 21) for KG(31 ish) is a little stupid imo...
But trading away all those players could give my man marcobelli some decent PT

Re: KG coming to the Bay?
I'd rather see this happen (of course) w/out Biedrins. I think to give up Biedrins AND Ellis (on top of Wright &/or Al Harrington) is a lot. Throw in POB (please!!!)
K.G. and Baron on the same team, though...if nothing else (with all the players leaving), this team would be a highly marketable one. Wouldn't that deal make keeping Barnes and Pietrus all that more important?

Well its win now with two of the best players at their position, or wait for your young telent to get stuck in lottery mode after the rest of the guys get old.

What's wrong with a few years? Lol everybody on our team doesn't need to be 25 years old. It's a great opportunity as long as we don't give up Biedrins. I keep getting the impression the T-Wolves are holding out for a Scott Kazmir type trade.
