Would anybody really care to see this happen? I know the chances are slim to none that Kobe be traded up the coast, but apparently the media seems to think the Warriors are worth monitoring in the Kobe Bryant sweepstakes.
Don't hold your breath waiting for a Kobe trade

A source with the Bulls says conversations about Kobe Bryant are non-existent. Same for the Warriors. A league source says there's nothing cooking with the Suns. Mavericks owner Mark Cuban told the Dallas Morning News that, of course he'd explore a trade for Bryant, but that nothing has come up yet. Hard to imagine any other teams out there with the juice to acquire Bryant, who has a no-trade clause.

Warriors fans: Would you really want to have this guy on the team? And at what cost? If the W's were really to have a shot at a superstar like Bryant, it would cost the W's a lot of young talent (likely Monta Ellis AND Andris Biedrins, among others).
NBA fans: Of all the potential destinations that are being swirled around as Kobe's next home (the top two apparently Chicago and Dallas), would it be a letdown to see Kobe traded to the East Bay instead? Or would you think (against all odds, this trade were to happen) this would benefit the Warriors and the NBA?
I'll save my opinion for later - I wanted to get a take on what others were feeling about this potential move.
