Did anybody watch the Mavs game last night?
It looks to me in that game and some others like they still haven't recovered from their playoff series with us last season. Anybody agree?

I agree. They need a trade.

Yes they do, but unfortunately the management and coaching staff doesn't seem to feel that way.

Yeah, something's definitely wrong with the Mavs this season. They're not playing up to their usual regular season play.
Or maybe they've just decided to cruise through the regular season since everyone knows they're getting into the playoffs, anyway, and they're waiting to expend all their energy once the playoffs begin. I can't blame them since clearly a 67-win season means nothing. If they won 70 games this year, nobody would care.

True but wouldn't the defensive intensity still need to be there based on how much of a drill sargeant Avery is?

Re: Did anybody watch the Mavs game last night?
It's been noted that Avery Johnson hasnt been as harsh on his players. He yelled and screamed them into winning 67 games last season, and look where it got them. They were burned out against the much younger and athletic Warriors. I think he's just trying to take it easy. They'll turn it up b4 playoffs.

Kobe is not having Jordan's PPG because Kobe isnt selfish as Michael Jordan. He plays for the team where as Jordan played only for himself.
